Bimi is a private relationship app for two people. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can delete your data.
No GPS tracking
Bimi uses manually entered city or time zone details for couple widgets. We do not collect precise GPS location.
Private couple data
Quest answers, photos, drawings, streaks, pet state, and memories are stored for the two partners in a couple.
Account deletion
Deleting an account removes the user, couple document, and related subcollections handled by the deleteAccount Cloud Function.

This policy covers the Bimi iOS app, widgets, website, and supporting services.
Data we collect
Bimi uses Firebase Anonymous Auth, so we create an anonymous user identifier rather than asking for a name, email address, or password.
When you pair with a partner, we store couple identifiers, invite codes, partner user IDs, pet type, pet stage, pet mood, streak count, reminder settings, unlocked cosmetics, and widget state.
Daily quests may store photo uploads, whiteboard strokes, text answers, guesses, timestamps, reveal state, and memory records. Photos are stored in Firebase Storage, and quest or memory metadata is stored in Firestore.
If you enable notifications, we store a push notification token so Firebase Cloud Messaging can deliver reminders and widget refresh notifications.
If you subscribe, RevenueCat and Apple process purchase status, entitlement status, and subscription renewal information.
How we use data
We use your data to create and join couples, deliver the daily quest, reveal partner submissions, grow the shared pet, maintain streaks, render widgets, send reminders, unlock premium features, and support account deletion.
We use PostHog analytics to understand feature usage, such as invites, quest completion, widget usage, paywall views, and subscription conversion.
We use Sentry for crash and error monitoring. Quest answers and photos should not be included in Sentry breadcrumbs.
Third-party services
Bimi uses Firebase and Google Cloud services for anonymous authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Firebase Storage, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and App Check.
Bimi uses PostHog for analytics and session replay, Sentry for error monitoring, RevenueCat for subscription status, and Apple for App Store purchases.
These services process data according to their own privacy and security terms.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal data.
Your couple content is intended for you and your paired partner. Service providers process data only to operate, secure, analyze, and monetize Bimi.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users, or to enforce our terms.
Your choices
You can choose not to enable notifications. You can manage subscriptions through your Apple App Store account.
You can request help or deletion support by emailing contact@lume.gg.
Deleting your account removes the account and couple data handled by Bimi's deletion flow. Because Bimi is built around a shared couple, deleting the couple may affect both partners.
Children and safety
Bimi is designed for couples and is not intended for children under 13.
Do not upload illegal, harmful, or non-consensual content.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy as Bimi changes. The latest version will be posted on this page.
